a fitting start
It was not until we were finishing school at Babson College, writing business plans and thinking about what to do in the real world, did the idea of mixing entrepreneurship and custom shirts dawn on us. Our inspiration was Barrett’s father who had been bringing back gorgeous custom shirts fashioned in sharp, eye catching patterns from Hong Kong for a number of years. why san francisco?
Beside the fact that the weather situation is pretty damn nice all year round, we found San Francisco to be the most multidimensional environment we have ever visited, making it the perfect place to start our company. Anything goes in San Francisco and it is chalk full of a vast range of authentic flavors. Be it the the music, food, people or architecture we are proud to call this our home base. We surely didn’t choose it for tax loopholes or because it was conveniently close to our manufacturers.
